BusTed in Zeehan, Strahan and Macquarie Heads

Hi, its us again.
We did a bit of a trek from Rosebery out towards the coast.
Along the way there had been bushfires and the regrowth looked spectacular.

We called into an historic town called Zeehan, it used to be the third largest town in Tassie, but alas no more.
Peter Pan arrived and stole everyone, or was that Captain Hook ??

There was an old museum, we didn't pay the entry fee, but Ellen got a good shot of a you guessed it, a Train..

The main street is quite charming.

We left Zzzzeehan in a quest for water. It was great to reach the coast and get a good view of the western coastline.

We drove through Strahan to our camp spot for the night in a Pine Forest just a little bit before Macquarie Heads.
It was enchanting.

Magical, and daunting.

We shared the forest with about half a dozen other campers and their horses.

We then left and went all the way to the coast another 5km.... to see the sea.

Before we turned back around  to Strahan and Hogarth Falls.

Love till next time
Ellen and Michelle
