BusTed in Uralla

Hi Everyone,
We are headed south again and this place is awesome.
It certainly took some finding, but we are definitely going back to this little gem.

"Rocky Creek Fossicking Area"

Its out of town about 6 kms, and the beauty of it is that its a free camp and you can fossick for gold as well, Woohoo.

There is not much level ground, but the creek is awesome.

We parked the bus, then we jumped out, ran down to the river and just absorbed it all.
Ahhhhh!!

Look at this little mermaid, a long way from home.

The light filtered through the trees and made for beautiful photographs.

Okay here it is
Where is BusTed ?

More amazing shots from Ellen.

Oh!!! Its just all too much for some.

In the early morning light there was hundreds of gold flecks in the sand beneath the water.
Probably not worth a huge amount, but enough to make me want to come back and try my luck.

On the way heading back eastward we were happy to see the long paddock being utilised.

Till next time

BusTed in Hampton

BusTed in the Hamptons.
We had a little overnight stop here and the weather was just incredible.

Before the storm actually hit I went outside and captured these very eerie, yet beautiful shots.

This is my favourite photo.
Enjoy.

BusTed in Moore and Blackbutt

Hi Again,
Well we had fun in this little place called Moore, there are quirky little cafes and trendy places to buy gifts. There was a rail trail walk with historic sights which Ellen did while I tagged along with the BusTed.

We arrived together at "The Principals' Cottage" which stands aside the old school. It has been converted to a giftware shop and wine tasting....although it was only 10am we figured it was 4pm somewhere and partook in a sampling of the grape juice. To our delight we found a lovely bottle of 'pink' to our liking.

Now, Blackbutt just a few kms up the road but what fun. Just in time for the Bloomin' Blackbutt Festival honey and bees galore. We had met some fellow busers at Moore and were invited to their Chapter meeting of the CMCA (Caravan, Motorhome and Campers Association) which we are members of.
We were made to feel very welcome at their property. Most of us went back into town that night and one of the highlights was an open air screening of " Oz the Great and Powerful" It was so much fun....popcorn and ice-creams in abundance..

The screen was so much bigger in real life.

Till next time
